A projectile launched with adjustable air resistance showing the effect of drag on trajectory.
How this simulation works
Use the Launch Speed slider to set how fast the projectile leaves the ground (in m/s) and the Launch Angle slider to set its direction above horizontal (in degrees). Use the Drag Coefficient slider to control air resistance — set it to zero for a perfect parabola, or increase it to see drag shorten the range and flatten the peak. Press Start to fire the projectile, Pause to freeze it mid-flight, and Reset to clear the trail and start over. Comparing launches at the same speed and angle with different drag values makes the effect of air resistance immediately visible.
