An object sliding down an adjustable incline with friction and normal force vectors.
How this simulation works
Use the Angle slider to tilt the incline (5°–80°). Use the Friction μk slider to set the kinetic friction coefficient between the block and the surface. Use the Mass slider to set the block's weight in kilograms. Press Start to release the block from the top of the incline — it slides down only if the gravity component exceeds friction. Press Pause to freeze mid-slide and Reset to return the block to the top. Watch the red force vectors (weight, normal, friction) and the blue velocity arrow update in real time.
